AGC's Aon Build America Awards honors Harrah's Horseshoe Casino with Merit Award!

Pepper Construction was recently honored by the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC), winning their 2009 Aon Build America Merit Award for the company's work overseeing construction of the new Harrah's Horseshoe Casino in Hammond, Indiana. Pepper was among eight companies to receive this national award. Harrah's Horseshoe Casino includes 108,000 square feet of gaming space, a 300 seat entertainment venue, as well as new parking and entertainment facilities. Because the casino is required to float, it had to be built on top of a foundation of six football field-sized barges, requiring Pepper to overcome a range of design and construction challenges.

The AGC's award ranks the nation's most significant construction projects and it is one of the most prestigious in the construction industry.  Pepper gratefully congratulates everyone on the team who built this project.
