Community involvement

We love the holidays at Pepper Construction. One of our favorite traditions is one we started about 13 years ago - the Chicago Sun-Times Charity Trust Letters to Santa program. Pepper has a special relationship with Genevieve Melody STEM Elementary School, where Richard & Roxy Pepper serve as "Principals for a Day" every year. We always request letters from Melody students, and this year we received 125 letters. Employees volunteer, often taking 2-4 letters each, buy a gift, write a letter to the child, and then return the gift to the office for delivery. This year, we answered more than 1,000 letters!

Other organizations that we enjoy supporting are the United Cerebral Palsy for teens and adults, Toys for Tots, and the African American Contractor’s Association. As we pause to reflect on this past year and the blessings we have received, it's the perfect time to share with those less fortunate. All of us at Pepper Construction wish you a happy and safe holiday!
