Pepper is serving as the concrete subcontractor on a new 306-foot, 281-key hotel tower on the southeast corner of Wabash and 11th Street in Chicago.

Developed by Hinsdale-based S.B. Yen Management Group and designed by local architect Lothan Van Hook DeStefano, the 29-story building will contain a 196-room Homewood Hilton, a separate 85-room, extended-stay Wabash Suites and approximately 3,500 square feet of ground-floor retail. Both hotels plan to share a new 145-car garage as well as other back-of-house amenities.
