Highland-District-Hospital-Parking-Lot-Repaved
The parking lot at Highland District Hospital was expanded and repaved for staff and visitors.

Last week we completed the parking lot expansion at Highland District Hospital. Though it's not the most exciting part of the project, it's still a much-needed improvement. The expansions to the north and west are already under way as well, with the structure coming out of the ground. Next year, they will house new and upgraded operating rooms, an expanded cafeteria, physical therapy, increased outpatient services, as well as upgraded and additional patient rooms.

At Pepper, we often quietly proceed with our work and celebrate the project at the end. But I thought it was worth recognizing the investment that is being made in the rural community of Hillsboro, Ohio, right now. While other rural hospitals are struggling to stay afloat, Highland District Hospital is upgrading their facilities to better serve the community, and as the lifeblood of the town, the investment is significant. I've felt the support of the entire community and observed how those at the hospital are treated like local celebrities. Across all of our locations, it's not our highest profile project, but for this town, it's huge. It feels great to be part of something that means so much to so many people.
