Pepper has worked with the Rush University Medical Center campus since 1996, completing multiple highly-phased projects in user-occupied spaces. Some of Pepper’s most recent projects include a colon and rectal surgery unit, a breast imaging center, a student clinical lab, a medical records office space, and the Orthopedic Ambulatory Building. The 222,000-square-foot ambulatory building features five stories above grade and two below, and has achieved LEED Gold certification. Additional projects that Pepper has worked on at Rush include administrative, ambulatory, clinical, surgical laboratory, academic, food service, infrastructure, regulatory and public spaces.
