Roo Valley is a part of the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden's “More Home to Roam” master plan, which is outlining new experiences and habitats while transforming existing buildings. The Roo Valley expansion project includes the Wildlife Canyon adventure course, Roo Valley’s kangaroo walkabout, a Beer Garden and a new habitat for the Little Blue Penguins.

  • Wildlife Canyon – Wildlife Canyon includes a two-level ropes adventure course that sits 25 feet high in the treetops and features 60 activities. There are options for people of all abilities,  including an ADA accessible section of the course.
  • Roo Valley – Beneath the trees, guests share space with the kangaroos in a 11,500-square-foot kangaroo walkabout.
  • Beer Garden – Located behind the Watering Hole, guests can relax and enjoy the view of Roo Valley from a new, multi-tiered Beer Garden.
  • Little Blue Penguins – The Zoo’s little blue penguin colony have a new home with an underwater viewing area in Roo Valley
