This completed project renovated approximately 41,000-square-feet across five interconnected buildings that had been constructed and modified over the past 94 years. The work modernized instructional environments by upgrading laboratories and classrooms and introducing new collaboration spaces to support student engagement. The scope also included renovation of multiple office areas, construction of a new stairway connecting the Mechanical Engineering Building to the Gatewood addition and installation of a new elevator to improve accessibility. Comprehensive upgrades to the building’s mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems were completed to support long-term performance and efficiency.
