So how can a team already well versed in Lean and IPD better leverage its partners upfront to improve productivity and track metrics? That's the challenge the healthcare provider presented the integrated team currently working on an Emergency Department renovation and expansion project.

The team responded with an innovative kick-off strategy that fostered collaboration. By leveraging Pepper's Chief Strategy Officer to lead the two-day session and incorporate teambuilding exercises, the team walked away prepared with a solid plan and, more importantly, energized about the process moving forward.
