Kimberly-Clark chose Chicago’s Fulton Market District as the home for its North American commercial center, and we transformed a landmark 1915 wood timber building at 1155 W. Fulton Market into a workplace that reflects the energy of the neighborhood around it.
The 87,502-square-foot interior renovation spans four floors and includes open and private offices, training rooms, a catering pantry, a fitness center and a roof deck. A new two-story communicating staircase connects the floors and serves as a central gathering point for the space. Polished concrete floors and open ceilings preserve the character of the historic structure while giving the interior a contemporary feel.
Our Self-Perform Group handled demolition, concrete and drywall, and we were selected for the project through our continued partnership with CBRE and our team’s experience working in loft buildings. The project was completed in seven months.
