Covenant House Illinois serves young adults ages 18 to 24 who are experiencing homelessness, offering shelter, educational programs, job training and placement and medical services. We partnered with them across two phases to build out their facility in Chicago’s East Garfield Park neighborhood, creating safe, functional spaces where young people can find stability and support.
In Phase 1, we completed a 5,900-square-foot buildout of the third floor of Covenant House’s new building, delivering new sleeping rooms, bathrooms, offices, resource labs and support spaces. Phase 2 followed with a 5,800-square-foot rebuild of the second floor of their existing facility, matching the same program of spaces and bringing the same level of care to the work. Across both phases, we upgraded MEP systems and replaced 46 windows.
