This renovation project at IU Health Arnett modernized and expanded the facility’s surgical and cardiac care capabilities through the development of a new hybrid operating room and the renovation of existing cardiac rehabilitation spaces. The approximately 5,600-square-foot scope included a single-story vertical expansion that delivered a state-of-the-art hybrid OR designed to support advanced, minimally invasive procedures integrating surgical and imaging technologies.
The project also enhanced the cardiac rehab department, improving patient flow, clinical efficiency and the overall patient experience. Renovations supported the integration of updated medical equipment, improved staff workflows and fully code-compliant infrastructure, all while minimizing disruption to ongoing hospital operations. As a result, IU Health Arnett is now better positioned to deliver high-quality cardiovascular and surgical care to the region, meeting current demands while supporting future growth.
