A landmark 185,000-square-foot gaming, dining and entertainment destination replacing Penn Gaming’s legacy floating casino and anchoring Joliet’s new Rock Run Crossings development.
The casino features 1,200 gaming positions across a main gaming floor, high-limit gaming lounge and themed gaming areas, all supported by dedicated server bars, beverage stations and back-of-house support spaces. Guests can choose from a variety of dining and entertainment options, including a casual dining steakhouse, Chicago pizza, a burger venue and the BetRivers Sportsbook. A 15,000-square-foot event center rounds out the programming.
A five-story, 1,000-car precast concrete parking garage connects directly to the casino via a multi-story connector and promenade, creating a seamless arrival experience. Because Penn Entertainment’s personnel were based out of state, we led all infrastructure coordination to secure temporary and permanent utilities for the project. Our High Performance team navigated LEED certification, and our Virtual Construction team modeled the structure throughout.
