As part of a multi-year consolidation master plan, Pepper and Ujamaa Construction partnered to deliver a comprehensive program of improvements, additions and renovations that transformed the district’s athletic and academic facilities.
The centerpiece of the work at the South (FAC) campus is a new 85,000-square-foot fieldhouse featuring a 200-meter indoor track and long-jump area, three basketball courts, batting cages, a weight room, a fitness studio and locker rooms. A public-facing concession center rounds out the facility, giving the community a welcoming space to gather on game days and beyond. Alongside the fieldhouse, a new football stadium was constructed to seat 2,700 fans, complete with a turf field, new track, concession building with ticket facility, storage building and surrounding practice fields for football, soccer and softball programs.
