Nothing but the Best for Cincinnati’s Children
Pepper’s winning blend of people and partnership, backed by deep experience building complex healthcare environments, delivered a first-of-its-kind combination pediatric primary and specialty care facility at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital in Kentucky. The new 26,800-square-foot Brandon and Kelly Janszen Union Kentucky Building broadens our growing healthcare portfolio in the region and brings world-class care even closer to home for families in the area.
A history of trustworthy performance, coupled with strong relationships cultivated by Senior Vice President Jerry Noble, distinguished Pepper as the right team for the job long before the project broke ground. The combination of expertise and strategic solutions then became a powerful force for progress that kept things moving. The result: a project delivered as promised through incident-free, tailored design and construction that ensures quality and specialized functionality within the hospital’s preferences for standardization – all while providing customized care for the region’s children and families.
A true team effort
Much of the project’s success can be attributed to making the Cincinnati Children’s team our partners in the process. Navigating requested changes during the construction phase without impact to schedule or cost was possible through active administrative and medical staff involvement. Monthly site visits, regular joint safety walks and the integration of monthly drone imaging, BIM and HoloBuilder technologies ensured the accurate capture and communication of onsite realities. This collaboration opened critical opportunities for sharing information and asking questions, which then allowed the team to successfully manage risks and optimize resources.
