Every April, in celebration of Earth Day, the world unites to support the planet that supports us. We are reminded that we hold the power to renew our commitments to reduce, reuse and recycle - routine behaviors that preserve the natural world.

While saving the environment is serious business, this year Pepper has adopted a Green Week theme with a wink and a nod to Mother Nature - “Don’t be Trashy.” It's also particularly relevant to our work. As we continue to provide sustainable solutions for our clients and partners, we also want to recognize the outstanding waste management efforts of our team members, whose commitments improve every project and jobsite we touch.

Raising the Standard

Those commitments are a deliberate choice. Reducing our environmental impact requires care, intentional planning and the highest level of teamwork and coordination. Every project that Pepper builds is an opportunity to support the earth through conserving natural resources. By sharing recycling solutions with clients and partners, we amplify our collective impact. Our efforts not only support greater sustainable practices, but also help educate and actively engage our communities, on and off-site, about waste management, recyclable materials and the real-world difference that practiced, intentional behavior can make. For those looking to do more within their communities, local and national non-profit organizations like Habitat for Humanity offer great opportunities to repurpose recyclable materials and give them a second life. This is just one example of the many ways in which we can all do our part.
