Designed to create a sense of community, the Westerville Public Library was renovated to reflect a town-like playscape for the users. Each area is designed and constructed to meet the growing demands of the users within the community. This library is the fourth busiest library in the state of Ohio.
- This interior renovation project included work in the children's activity center, teen room, computer lab, homework help room and the adult tech center.
- Power and USB connections were added to every table, along with large monitors in the group study rooms. The library encourages local businesses to host webinars and training sessions.
- The new homework help center allows the number of children it serves to grow to meet the state's third-grade reading guarantee.
- The teenagers also benefit from the renovation in their space, which reflects the feel of an internet cafe.
