Tawani Enterprises’ new residential location at 1323 W. Morse consists of the construction of an eight-story building with the top five floors for residential space and the bottom three allocated to parking. The building will include 45 rental apartment units with 75 parking spaces. Twenty-five of the parking spaces will be reserved for the residents of the building and 50 spaces will be reserved for the patrons of the Mayne Stage performance space, located directly across the street from the development. When the Mayne Stage is not using the parking, the 50 spaces will be available for community residents and patrons of nearby businesses.
The precast concrete frame structure is supported by a mat slab foundation. The proposed building envelop consists of decorative structural precast concrete panels with brick inlays and a low sloped built-up roofing system. The building is targeted for completion in the Spring of 2019.
