Colby Jordan and Glenn Thomas join the privately held company's advisory team
CHICAGO — Oct. 7, 2026 The Pepper Companies today announced the appointment of Colby Jordan and Glenn Thomas to its board of directors.
Colby is an investor, entrepreneur and technology executive whose 15-year career spans venture capital, private equity, product marketing and software development, serving industries ranging from biotechnology to construction. Colby’s experience also includes helping early-stage businesses grow from the ground up.
He currently serves as Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer of Ulysses Diversified Holdings, where he oversees investments in innovative, high-growth businesses. Colby has founded and advises on several funds and companies at the intersection of national security and emerging technology, including artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, advanced communications, energy and space. Colby earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Industrial Design from Rochester Institute of Technology, with additional studies in entrepreneurship and art history.
A retired Senior Managing Director at Accenture, Glenn is a technology executive whose 34-year career centered on systems transformation, digital strategy and large-scale change.
He spent the entirety of his career at Accenture, where he rose from analyst to Senior Managing Director over a tenure spanning 1989 to 2023. In that time, he served as a long-term client partner for major organizations, guiding them through complex challenges by leveraging strategy, consulting, technology and operations. His work centered on creating significant value through emerging technology and building collaborative, entrepreneurial relationships that move organizations forward.
Glenn earned his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he was a member of Phi Gamma Delta and Alpha Pi Mu, the Industrial Engineering Honor Society. His skills in process improvement and management consulting have been widely recognized throughout his career. Beyond his work at Accenture, Glenn served as an Executive Board Member of the Chicago Sports Commission from 2013 to 2021, deepening his connection to the Chicago civic community.
