Columbus Office WELL v2 Silver Certification

Pepper Construction recently announced that it has been awarded WELL v2 Certification at the Silver level for its Columbus office, located in VanTrust Real Estate’s Blazer Tech I development in Dublin, Ohio. The project is one of only two WELL-certified buildings in the state of Ohio, and the first to be WELL v2 certified in Ohio.

Pepper Family Wildlife Center

The Pepper Family Wildlife Center at Lincoln Park Zoo, originally built in 1912, underwent a major renovation to modernize the historic lion house and align it with contemporary standards in animal care and conservation. The project, led in part by Pepper Construction, faced challenges in blending historical architecture with modern habitat design. Emphasizing collaboration and animal welfare, the team prioritized safety, environmental enrichment, and climate control. The renovated space now includes features inspired by natural lion habitats, such as rock formations and diverse climate zones. The result is a cutting-edge facility that supports the zoo’s mission locally and globally.
